Eating crab cakes – well I am in Maryland

June 19 2012 12.40am

Star-spangled Sailabration on outside. Tall ships and sailors everywhere (the white uniformed kind)

Now I understand the US might want to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 but not sure the Russians, Mexicans, Aussies etc etc were all there – BUT – they are all in Baltimore – heard the familiar Aussie, Aussie, Aussie war cry tonight out the window.

Well the US might have declared war on the British Empire but the British Empire and the colonials (read me) are declaring war on the US … no tea in this place .. dreaming of real tea with Lizzie in proper cups!

Great dinner tonight with the British Empire (read Carol and Greg).  Yes they are complaining more than me about no TEA – Professor (Carol) Haigh – “I want real tea, America does not understand the importance of tea. I need tea. Not tea with spices, not tea with fruit, not herbal tea. JUST ordinary tea. Why is that so hard to comprehend? Why? Sobbing”
